NOV

Engineering Intern

April - August 2020 • Tulsa, OK

What I liked

The diverse projects I was given. I was worried about how I would take working in the field. But the assignments were at my level and my managers helped me when I had problems. NOV was a great place to intern.

What I wish was different

Nothing. I had steady work, good coworkers, and didn't have work to take home.

Advice

Try not to have an idea of how you think an internship will go. I expected work I wouldn't understand and work that would push me to my limits. But the managers help and make sure you know what is needed and how to work through the problems. By the end I was flying through the small projects so quickly they were keeping up with me, in terms of getting me knew projects.
