The general work atmosphere and culture at DEKA is great, honestly a very enjoyable place to work.
What I wish was different
Manchester, NH is not exactly a very nice or busy city, would be a lot nicer if it was in Boston or something.
Advice
DEKA offers some really great opportunities, make sure to take the ones that come up to you and try to get to know the other interns.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the people I was working with. Everyone was very passionate about the stuff they were working on.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more software experience. I was mostly doing mechanical design and sensor evaluation.

This is a wonderful company to work for! I would definitely recommend applying!

What I liked
I definitely learned a lot about cloud computing and the intern experience was great. My team was very close and I got to learn about all the projects.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a role closer to my experience, as I didn't know too much about cloud before. I wish I had also made more friends with fellow interns.

Make friends with your team and with other interns!

What I liked
I was treated like a real employee and did real engineering tasks. DEKA is a very cool company in a great location with awesome people.
What I wish was different
I was the only CFD intern, so I didn't get to interact with other interns as much as I would like.

What I liked
I enjoyed working on a variety of different projects, learning from experienced engineers, and being able to work on improving several different skill sets, from coding to data analysis to planning experiments.
