About Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)—Chicago
A leading chapter of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR-Chicago is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered independently in Illinois. Our vision is to attain equal opportunity for—and normalize the image of—Muslims in the United States of America. Our primary mandate is to promote and defend the constitutional rights of all Americans regardless of citizenship status, and to assist those who cannot attain justice themselves.
CAIR-Chicago’s Internship and Externship Program offers students the opportunity to learn, interact, and grow in activism and advocacy.
