Trash Caddies is the most reliable subscription trash valet service in the country. Our service is simple, we roll our customer's trash bins to the curb the evening before trash day, and return them to their rightful place the next day. Our core customers are short-term rental operators, although we assist people from all walks of life, including the elderly, people with mobility issues, busy executives, frequent travelers, and more.

We're looking for a part-time driver to join our team here in Austin. 

You might be a good fit for this role if you meet the following qualifications:

  • You're available for at least 3 hours, at least 1 day per week - more shifts could be available, but this is the minimum availability required
  • You have a reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle or a truck with valid registration and current insurance
  • You are able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record (minor infractions like speeding tickets are okay)
  • You're a responsible, reliable person who shows up to work each day and can bring a positive attitude to the team
  • You're accustomed to working with apps on smartphones and can easily handle using technology in some capacity 
  • You take pride in your work and are capable of good attention to detail, ensuring each customer's property is properly serviced
  • You're able to lift up to 50 lbs

The role is very simple - you'd be driving to customer's properties to either walk their bins out to the curb, or bring them back. We take photo confirmations on both ends and use a routing software application that you'd need to be comfortable working in. 

Compensation is paid based on your time on the route - between the first property and the last - although there may be additional compensation opportunities available depending upon your vehicle, availability, and skill sets. This is a part-time role, but if there was mutual interest, it could expand into a larger role at the company over time.
