Washington Reading Corps Academic Tutor - Brinnon School District

This is an AmeriCorps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. To serve in AmeriCorps you must be a U.S. citizenU.S. national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States. Please do not inquire if you do not meet these requirements.

The Washington Reading Corps Academic Tutors are fully integrated members of our team. Duties include:

  • Tutor students in individual or small group settings.
  • Engage in professional learning alongside experienced educators.
  • Collaborate with staff to plan and implement activities to make learning fun.

Monthly stipend: $2,571

Additional Benefits:

The Brinnon School District is in a small, rural area on the Olympic Peninsula. We are bordered by the Hood Canal, Dosewallips and Duckabush Rivers, and the Olympic Mountains.
