AutoCAD Merchandising Layout Designer

General Purpose: 

Draw merchandising layouts in 2D of mall spaces from site inspection drawings, photos and site information using AutoCAD. 

 

Essential Functions: 

1. Draw floorplans or "shell" of retail mall locations using site inspection photos and drawings.

2. Merchandise space using fixture blocks from pre-determined store templates.

3. Maximize the usage of each space.

4. Maintain flow and adjacencies of product in each space. 

 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: 

 

1. Knowledge of how to use AutoCAD including drawing (2D), plotting and data extractions.

2. Organizational skills, and able to work in a very fast paced environment.

3. Knowledge of retail and spatial layout is a plus.

4. Ability to read as-built drawings is a plus.

5. Basic math and computer skills.
