SALI Fund Services (“SALI”) is a rapidly growing insurance-dedicated fund administration platform located just north of downtown Austin. Founded in 2002, the firm now oversees investor capital spread across 180+ separate private insurance dedicated funds whose strategies range from direct trading to alternative investments (ex. Position Summary:

SALI is seeking an Intern to support day to day functions and projects within our Accounting Department. The applicant will gain experience in the accounting and administration of private insurance dedicated funds regulated by the SEC investing in alternative investments (i.e. Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Real Estate, Private Debt, etc.). Desired intern will work directly with Accounting Team members,  various internal SALI departments and service providers.   

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily oversight of the accounting for the 180+ SALI Funds.
• Assist Audit/Tax Team to source information for the audit/tax providers to complete compliance work. 
• Contribute to internal ad hoc projects targeted to bring about more efficiencies to existing processes. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Applicant should be a Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting major
• Ability to work part-time during school year at least 15-20 hours per week
• Excellent critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills 
• Energetic and enthusiastic team player that is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and assist in any way necessary
• A quick learner that has a history of taking initiative, being self-motivated, a professional demeanor, and a desire to learn

Compensation:

$15/Hour
