Job Description and Duties
Join our team and thrive with your proficiency in environmental studies, compliance, project management, and grant oversight. This position will provide environmental compliance and permitting support activities for the Department of Water Resources’ Southern Region Office associated with preparation of environmental regulatory documents and applications for required permits; carrying-out wildlife and bird surveys; field and mitigation assessments; and monitoring functions associated with completed projects and those under construction. In addition, the candidate will support the Department’s grant and contract administration that includes the review of grant invoices for approval and payment, reviewing periodic reports, and reviewing and amending project grant/contract agreements, as necessary.
