Analyst, Broadcast Distribution/Entry Level Finance

FOX Broadcast Distribution is responsible for overseeing the distribution of FOX Entertainment, FOX Sports , and NewsEdge content across FOX’s O&O and affiliate body. The team is hiring an Analyst, Broadcast Distribution in Los Angeles. The Analyst, Broadcast Distribution will be responsible for providing support for the distribution of FOX content to FOX’s affiliates across the nation. Reporting to Director, Broadcast Distribution, and supporting various group members, this role will be responsible for analyses impacting the successful renewal of affiliation agreements, understanding current industry trends impacting broadcast distribution, and facilitating finance operations for the department. 

 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct station economic analysis and research
  • Maintain subscriber tracking
  • Provide proposal and deal analysis
  • Provide assistance with budgeting & forecasting of affiliate revenues
  • OTT Remit management, including creating statements, and managing Coupa payment process
  • Create, manage, and follow up on payment statements, including late & past due
  • Update Business Partner contacts for finance
  • Provide invoice management for department expenses

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1+ years of experience, preferably in media. A successful internship qualifies as experience
  • Team player, self stater, positive attitude, desire to learn
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding the big picture and business as a whole
  • Aptitude to work well on more than one project at a time in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Passion for media and entertainment

 

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business, finance, media, etc.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $24.25-36.06 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
