POSITION DESCRIPTION

OnRamps Course Graders support course management in the OnRamps Statistics course through exam grading and ongoing course maintenance. They provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects. OnRamps Course Graders work on day-to-day operational aspects of OnRamps, pursuing excellence in all aspects of project and customer service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accuracy and consistency while grading course assignments and assessments in Canvas Learning Management System
  • Revise and finalize modules, activities, assessments, and other course resources in Canvas Learning Management System
  • Participate in course prototyping, user testing, and continuous improvement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Math or related discipline
  • Successful completion of a statistics course at the University of Texas, having earned a grade of B or better
  • Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Canvas LMS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual-enrollment and college-readiness initiatives
  • Successful completion of SDS 301 – Elementary Statistical Methods, having earned a grade of B or better; Statistics coursework beyond introductory Statistics
  • Expert computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; R programming experience
  • Experience with MS Outlook and/or Smartsheet
