New Jersey is flush with restaurants, attractions, parks, plenty of NY and Philly sports, exceptional schools, coastal and lakefront beaches, and mountains just to the north. Whether it’s boating, fishing, hiking, history, concerts or theater, there is something for everyone in New Jersey, and yes, as its nickname implies, there are plenty of farmers markets along with award winning wineries and breweries throughout many regions in the state. Cultural and recreational opportunities abound within the state and nearby with full transportation access to traverse the east coast, cruise ports in Philly, NY, and Bayonne, travel by rail along the NE corridor or travel to almost any destination by air from a wide range of “local” accessible major and regional airports.
From the centrally located Division Office you can be in downtown Philadelphia in 45 minutes, New York City in just over an hour, or head “down the shore” to our beautiful shore points in just 45 minutes. Both cities are easily accessible by transit. In addition, historic downtown Princeton is a mere 20 minutes up the road.

The division office is in the “suburbs” of Trenton in Ewing Township. The office is in a quiet, well-kept office complex with ample free parking; and is conveniently located right off I-95, very close to the New Jersey/Pennsylvania border, providing employees’ numerous options for where to live in either state. The complex sits next to an attractive and well-kept golf course with office space that is new, spacious, and attractive.
The New Jersey Division takes great pride in its people, work, and accomplishments. New Jersey is diverse in its population, geography, and land development. It is also the most densely populated state in the country and due to its unique location serves as a vital transportation corridor state between the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. These realities are the backdrop to the many project challenges we face routinely such as high traffic volumes, right-of-way and environmental constraints, traffic staging, public outreach, and interagency coordination to name a few.
The New Jersey Division has it all and is a great place to live, work and play! For more information, please visit:
