General Summary: 

Under limited direction, the AMP System Engineer (SE) is responsible for optimization of a customer’s energy program's metering and control systems, and for training Energy Specialists on those systems. The AMP SE works with Facilities and Maintenance Directors to address mechanical and control issues for buildings. The AMP SE will:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Supports AMP technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database and/or system software components.
  • Assists in the analysis process of existing AMP systems.
  • Assists in the determination of AMP system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Assists in identifying and analyzing AMP program support deficiencies.
  • May assist in resolving AMP program support deficiencies.
  • May perform AMP system integration and verification and validation.
  • May conduct research and assist with AMP technical documentation.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as information systems, engineering, or other related field
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; US citizenship required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial and/or Systems Engineering
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with SolidEdge and Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience with MATLAB
