We are now accepting applications for our part time non-paid Internship Program. Qualified applicants will be contacted if they have been selected to move forward in our process. This position is geared toward current college students studying Pre-Med, Pre-Health, Biology, Psychology or Neuroscience (and related fields). The job is on-site in Austin, TX. No remote work permitted.
Internship Description
We are seeking students with analytical skills and strong attention to detail who are interested in gaining experience in the fields of public health, health sciences and clinical research. The main responsibility of this internship is to review our medical records for potential research candidates. Interns will be exposed to medical terminology, medications, and research in a professional setting. Interns must have transportation.
Part time (8- 12 hours a week)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure that good quality data is abstracted from medical charts, organized and entered in an accurate, confidential and comprehensible manner.
Enter data from paper surveys into electronic database
Review subject medical records for study entry criteria.
Communicate with the physician on subject qualification
Ensure that the project is carried out according to design and meets project timelines.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
