Mandarin-Speaking Human Resources Generalist

Thinktown America, the US-based division of Thinktown Education, is seeking a motivated Mandarin-Speaking Human Resources Generalist to work full-time. We are currently working remotely and will be keeping a fully remote/hybrid working mode.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
·     Design and implement recruitment strategy based on a given demand
·     Post and update jobs on career sites such as LinkedIn and Handshake, and other hiring-related platforms
·     Screen applications, schedule interviews, and conduct follow-up communications
·     Represent the company at recruitment events and career fairs
·     Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation
·     Maintain employee files and records, keeping HR Department (Hangzhou, China) updated
·     Promote HR programs to create an equal, efficient, and collaborative workplace
·     Collect and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
·     Develop and implement human resource policies
·     Assist with day-to-day office communication and administrative duties
 
Basic Qualifications:
·     A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Human Capital Management, or related fields
·     An interest in education and business with an entrepreneurial spirit
·     Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
·     Ability to work independently and with a team-player spirit
·     Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
·     Positive energy and results-driven attitude
·     Flexibility, timeliness, and dependability
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·     Fluency in Mandarin (written, spoken, and reading) is preferred
·     A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Human Capital Management, or related fields
·     Ability to be a successful relationship manager 
·     Experience in setting up career fairs online or offline
·     Experience in recruiting or other HR-related work
