Vice President for Student Affairs Digital Modernization Intern (VPSA)

The Office
 
Led by Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Soncia Reagins-Lilly, the Division of Student Affairs works with academic partners, staff, parents and student leaders to influence our students in Living the Longhorn Life®. Supported by the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Division’s nine departments, 37 units and 40 facilities offer first-class programs, facilities and services. 
 
The Position
 
  • Assisting in the rollout of our new initiative, Texas Digital 360 (TexasDigital360.com)
  • Marketing this new initiative through a combination of social media, email campaigns, and in-person events
  • Creating engaging and appealing marketing-rollout ideas to solicit student usage
  • Conceptualize and advertise Texas Digital 360 via unique avenues
  • Tasks may sometimes include in-person speaking and tabling events to promote Texas Digital 360
  • Organizing Zoom info sessions for students, faculty, and staff to learn about this new initiative
  • Role may sometimes require the individual to create high quality graphics (not a must)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with the campus community in a variety of settings
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of thinking outside of the box and creatively problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build campus partnerships.
