Web Content Intern (FAS Business Services)

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program 
  
The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program empowers students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage and housing assistance.  Undergraduate students only are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 30, 2023 to August 4, 2023. The application is due by February 12, 2023 at 11:59pm. 
  
Although internships range in subject matter and skill set, each position is designed to prepare all students for life after graduation. An additional component to the internship experience will be a ten-week workshop series to develop students’ career readiness. The weekly workshop will require in-person attendance on campus.

The Office 
The many diverse units in Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) turn to FAS Business Services (FBS) for essential financial, human resources, and technology services. FBS focuses on providing the best service as efficiently as possible while aligning with applicable policies and standards. 
 
The Position 
- Reviewing, updating, and organizing current web content. -Potential backup administrative duties in an intermittent basis.
- Coordinating the creation of new web content.
- Supporting work on branding, editing, and formatting reference materials for website.
- Liaising with FAS Communications on the migration of current website to new drupal instance.
- Attending communication panel meetings.

Who You Are (Qualifications) 
- Skills in professional communication.
- Familiarity with Drupal or other web editing systems.
- Interest in financials and accounting and/or human resources.
- Experience or knowledge of branding guidelines, especially at UT.
