Contracts Administration Intern (Texas Global)

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program 
  
The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program empowers students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage and housing assistance.  Undergraduate students only are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 30, 2023 to August 4, 2023. The application is due by February 12, 2023 at 11:59pm. 
  
Although internships range in subject matter and skill set, each position is designed to prepare all students for life after graduation. An additional component to the internship experience will be a ten-week workshop series to develop students’ career readiness. The weekly workshop will require in-person attendance on campus.

The Office 
Education Abroad is a unit within Texas Global that supports UT students who are studying or interning abroad.
 
The Position 
Purpose
  • To draft, process, and administer contracts specific to international programs such as student exchange contracts, and faculty-led program agreements.

Responsibilities
With guidance from the Contracts Administrator:
  • Drafting contract agreements using contract templates. Coordinating via email or Teams/Zoom with representatives from different UT units regarding contract additions and structures, following the checklist of all the steps of fully executing an agreement generally involving getting approval from certain UT offices.
  • Working with DocuSign to have contracts signed and organizing the signed documents as well as supporting documents in UT Box, and tracking the progress of all contracts in Trello and Excel spreadsheets.
