The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program empowers students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage and housing assistance. Undergraduate students only are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 30, 2023 to August 4, 2023. The application is due by February 12, 2023 at 11:59pm.

Although internships range in subject matter and skill set, each position is designed to prepare all students for life after graduation. An additional component to the internship experience will be a ten-week workshop series to develop students’ career readiness. The weekly workshop will require in-person attendance on campus.

The Office
Legislative Student Organizations

The Position
  • This position will be responsible for confirming all available funding available to registered student organizations on campus, helping to identify advertising options, and improving already existing information.
  • This initiative was started a few years ago with the 40acresfunding.org website. One goal is to identify any other funding options available on campus and advertise those new options on the current website.
  • Additionally, we would like to expand the website and provide a "matrix" of sorts so student organizations will be able to identify which funding source could best suit their needs based off of what items each entity is able to fund.
  • Finally we would like to form a plan for advertisement of the 40acresfunding.org website to ensure student organizations are aware of this resource. This advertisement plan could include graphics, promo items, etc.
