Manufacturing Technician – 2nd Shift

Agilent Technologies is seeking an experienced full-time Manufacturing Technician on 2nd shift to be a part of our growing Magnis production team located in Cedar Creek, TX.  Agilent is dedicated to making our Magnis production line an industry leader in innovation, market share, and product performance. We are seeking an upbeat, motivated individual with demonstrated skills in automation, manufacturing, quality, teamwork and communication.

Job description:

  • Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Conforms to all safety regulations and wears proper safety equipment.
  • Sets up and operates automated equipment/industrial robot(s) to manufacture Agilent products according to specifications.
  • Reads process order and work instructions to determine prescribed setup and operation.
  • Loads program/recipe into the machine to retrieve the correct program from the computer.
  • Operates automated equipment, observes operation, and monitors machines for malfunctions and error messages.
  • Inspects finished product for conformance to specifications.

Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM CT (10% shift differential included)

Job Posting Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 year of relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Basic Math and computer skills needed
  • Troubleshooting /problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with liquid handling automation
