Medical Device Product Associate

JOB SUMMARY: 
The Medical Device Product Associate will support projects and corporate initiatives necessary to enable the successful design, development, deployment, and adoption of diagnostic and clinical decision support medical imaging technologies that will be used as medical devices in routine clinical practice. Key functions include product development and testing, documentation, data entry and analysis, support of scientific and research initiatives, liaising with clinical users and sites, and supporting market-entry and commercialization of products and services targeting clinical/diagnostic applications.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·        Develop, deliver, and share technical documents and illustrative content to prospective customers to establish brand recognition of new products and to enhance brand awareness of existing products
·        Complete requests for additional information to satisfy a customer’s product evaluation processes. Requests for additional information include clarifying and providing value proposition(s), differentiating features, indications for use, instructions for use, clinical evidence, performance data, cybersecurity controls, system architecture diagrams, data privacy controls, data use policies, product pricing, and product reimbursement guidance.
·        Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, document customer feedback, and convert feedback into actionable tasks that improve the product offering.
·        Travel to tradeshows, society meetings, and clinical sites to support product growth and customer retention
·        Utilize project management software to collaborate with team members and participate in the timely execution of tasks geared towards strategic milestones
·        Collaborate with software, AI/ML, and IT teams to ensure the seamless delivery of software products to customers and to enhance the product portfolio
·        Enable sales representatives with technical support and product expertise
·        Test new product features and identify product anomalies prior to deployment of new software versions in line with processes that govern software as a medical device
·        Practice vigilance to ensure that product weaknesses and vulnerabilities do not go unnoticed and to ensure they are addressed according to established processes
·        Support regulatory applications for product updates and/or new devices in existing jurisdictions and/or new jurisdictions; Draft technical sections, analyze performance data, review applications, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to obtain device clearance
·        Analyze and summarize data to support customer driven and/or internally driven research initiatives that are categorically focused on demonstrating a product’s impact on medicine through the presentation and publication of academic proceedings (posters, podium presentations, and symposium sessions), peer reviewed manuscripts, and other scientifically focused mediums
·        Update website and maintain social media feeds to promote the business’s point of view in a manner that drives product adoption
·        Uphold, enable, and promote the company’s mission to improve healthcare by developing and democratizing access to state-of-the-art image analysis software that is responsibly designed, scientifically efficacious, and precision driven
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or science-related discipline
