Water Resource Control Engineer (JC-337497)

The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Water Rights has three openings for Water Resource Control Engineers in a new Supply and Demand Assessment Unit. The positions will work with multidisciplinary technical and professional staff to develop supply and demand models, and allocation tools for implementing the water rights priority system in critical watersheds. If you enjoy technical water resource engineering and modeling, development and implementation of new programs, and making collaborative relationships with stakeholders, this may be the position for you. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 14th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation. Remote-centric telework is available with minimal in-office days required based on operational need.
