Salary: $74,950 - $97,430 per year
 
CRS works exclusively for the United States Congress, providing policy and legal analysis to committees and Members of both the House and Senate, regardless of party affiliation. CRS is well known for analysis that is authoritative, confidential, objective, and nonpartisan. Its highest priority is to ensure that Congress has immediate access to the nation’s best thinking on public policy issues of interest to its Members and committees.

Qualified applicants will perform a variety of services within ALD, such as cite-checking for accuracy, reviewing for proper use of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, and proofreading and editing written products. Candidates will further support ALD’s legal programs and initiatives, such as legal seminars, presentations, and web-based projects, as required. Strong cite-checking, Bluebooking, proofreading, editing, legal research (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, HeinOnline), and technological skills are required. Candidates must also demonstrate superior organization skills and attention to detail.
