Environmental Services Field Technician

CEHMM, a non-profit conservation and environmental services organization, is seeking a full time Environmental Services Field Technician to assist and support activities primarily associated with the oil and gas energy sector. The position will be based out of the Carlsbad, NM office. Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position will include conducting onsites and conflict analyses of proposed activities and surveys for threatened or endangered species, along with preparation of NEPA documents and other office work. These duties require rigorous manual labor and exposure to extreme weather temperatures on a consistent basis; candidates should expect to work 8-12 hour days in the field. A Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology or related field is preferred. NEPA experience and ArcGIS experience preferred. Salary range $16.00-$23.00 per hour DOE. Send letter, resume, and references to CEHMM, 505 N.
