System Admin - Unix/Linux

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computers or related field
  • 2+ Years of Experience in System Administration and infrastructure management
  • Certification on VMware and Linux would be a plus.
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
  • Administer and maintain SAN and NAS systems.
  • Experience and expertise in installing and configuring different flavors of Linux like Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky and RHEL.
  • Administer and maintain various enterprise technologies including but not limited to Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, SCCM, VMware, and Citrix.
  • Proficient in Installing and configuring Windows and different flavors of Linux.
  • Administer and maintain data replication technologies and system backups.
  • Administer and maintain disaster recovery plans and disaster recovery quality assurance tests for the server infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
  • Administer and maintain ACL’s, anti-virus, anti-spam, host-based firewalls, internet content filtering, data loss prevention, patch management and various other security elements.
  • Install, move, upgrade and maintain personal computers, laptops, and peripheral equipment in a Large Area Network and Wide Area Network environment with multiple computing platforms to meet the needs of business operations.
  • Maintenance of strategies for managing and ensuring all enterprise systems are within vendor defined licensing compliance parameters.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be capable of working well with others and independently.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions with minimal supervision in a timely fashion.
  • Must be able to evaluate service requests and projects and prioritize as necessary.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand
  • Knowledge of installing, configuring and Administering containerization framework like Kubernetes, Docker etc.
  • Required to work from the office location for a minimum of three days in a five-day work week.
