Project Coordinator

RES
RES is looking for a Project Coordinator with 2+ years of administration experience, based in Raleigh, NC monitoring RES’s operations in the Southeast region.
The Mission: RES currently works in over 27 states, with 20+ projects in each state. Our accounting team relies heavily on our project administrators who monitor closely the financial needs of the project and manage them in the system throughout the entire life of the projects.
Due to the number of concurrent projects, the successful candidate is DETAIL-ORIENTED with experience handling data entry at a high volume; they are an excellent COMMUNICATOR capable of conveying information to a variety of the stakeholders within and outside of the company. We are looking for a TEAM-ORIENTED personality, since you will be working with cross-disciplinary teams, including Operations personnel, Finance & Accounting, Project Managers, Executives, vendors, and supporting contractors on a day-to-day basis; and a truly ANALYTICAL MIND, capable of tracing complex workflows that connect the various RES systems and procedures.

What your day-to-day might look like?

60% of your time you will be working with data-focused tools, exporting data, refining output, and importing it to the RES systems (Netsuite). You will be analyzing accounting and operational data and then mapping it into common platforms, hence experience with mapping data and advanced excel skills are crucial.
30% of your time will be meeting with project managers, accountants, and others to communicate and ensure financial/budgetary needs and expectations of projects are being met.
10% of your time will concern miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed and will vary according to each project.

Qualifications

We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
  • BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
  • Functional experience working with an ERP tool (Oracle / NetSuite)
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency, especially Excel (advanced Excel skills strongly preferred)
  • Ability to interpret contract administrative requirements and implement billing procedures
  • Experience with project scheduling software

What will make you stand out
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in any of the following: NetSuite, Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP 
  • Experience in an engineering, construction, or consulting firm
