Research Project Associate

Job Description:
We are seeking a Research Project Associate to support the Research Methods team in developing innovative ways to measure media and consumer behavior. This role, reporting to the SVP of Research Methods, will create and oversee project schedules, act as the liaison between various development/production teams and external vendors as appropriate, and ensure timely and thorough completion of projects.  In addition, this position will develop and manage certain R&D projects, including development of overall project design, as appropriate. This role will work across teams to provide guidance to a variety of research projects and initiatives.
As the Research Project Associate, you will have following key accountabilities:

  • Draft and oversee project schedules, incorporating input from a variety of internal teams and vendors, as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely and thorough completion of projects; troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of project needs in order to identify and inquire about project issues.
  • Estimate budgets, obtain approvals, and manage projects to come in under budget.
  • Develop R&D projects, including participating in project design
  • Basic data analysis and reporting responsibilities. 
  • Proofreading and data checking responsibilities periodically.

  • General knowledge of data cleaning and weighting
  • Strong collaboration skills are required to partner with stakeholders across different teams with unique requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy or quality
  • Adept at problem solving and considering scenarios outside of the box
  • Knowledge of Excel and/or project planning software
  •
