Metallurgy Technician - Eurofins EAG Laboratories
EAG Laboratories (a Eurofins company) has a great opportunity for an entry level Metallurgy Technician to prepare metal samples for laboratory testing at our El Segundo, CA lab. The position requires cutting various types of metals (25% of the time) - experience using tools such as a hacksaw, bandsaw or cut-off saw is a plus. The position will also include metallographic sample preparation; however, experience with these laboratory processes are not required.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Word; Excel - a plus
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Position requires sitting, standing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity
