Summer Internship 2023 – Analyst, Equinor Ventures (US)

The position
Our summer internship is a 12-week programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our US internship will begin on 30 May and ends on 18 August 2023. You can find out more about the programme at www.equinor.com/careers/summer-interns
As Equinor's corporate venture arm, we are actively looking for new investments and projects within technology to improve Equinor's operations. Our main mission is to find, accelerate, transfer, and commercialize new technology to improve the company's operations.
By joining Equinor’s Energy Ventures team, successfully selected candidates will receive tasks tailored to their interest and skill set, but will include some or all of the following:
- Assist the team in identifying, sourcing, & evaluating new investment opportunities.
- Attend meetings and Due Diligence (DD) calls with startup founders.
- Conduct market and competitive research.
- Research on specific areas of interest (e.g., AI, Blockchain, Industry 4.0, Energy Efficiency, etc.).
- Support portfolio operations, accounting/reporting, and financial requests.
You

• Currently studying for Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or Ph.D. with a strong academic record within science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) or related field of study.
• Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
• Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (30 May 2023)
• Candidates must live in a state where Equinor currently has presence
• Candidates must have the necessary work permit for the country in which they are applying for a position. The work permits must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the employment. • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage
• Demonstrated passion for technology, startups, and entrepreneurship. Disciplined, responsible, and self-motivated
