Critical/Physical Infrastructure Security Internships

Through this single application, you are considered for multiple internship projects related to Homeland Security Programs Support. Simply complete the application questions which will help us identify what knowledge and experience you already have that may be related to the preferred qualifications for each individual internship project. THE PROJECTS:

Daily tasks to include documentation and use case catalog of research related to transmission lines, power engineering, and energy research. Wind energy research program. Topology Optimization with Grid Enhancing Technologies Topology Optimization identifies the best grid reconfigurations to reroute flow around bottlenecks, which helps avoid congestion constraints and costs. Each of these technologies has a role to play in improving the electric grid and making better use of the grid we have, as well as future transmission infrastructure.
