Associate Administrator, Financial Systems
Assists in system administration for key corporate financial and performance management systems. Provides database management and technology solutions to support critical FP&A business processes. Acts as business liaison with end user community
Essential Functions:
- Assists in system administration and database management for planning and reporting software: IBM Planning Analytics, Board, Dimensional Insight, and/or other planning and reporting systems
- Plays a role in improving and streamlining current technology models and assists in the development of new models and databases in response to changing business needs
- Supports software implementations and upgrades
- Troubleshoots technical issues; coordinates with technical leads in problem solving
- Develops processes to manage databases, dimensions, and attributes. Develops financial and budgeting reports and tools
- Assists in system interface design and implementation
- Manages end user security and system structure changes
- Performs system reconciliations and supports internal audit requirements
- Acts as point of contact and communication for end users
- Provides training and acts as liaison to end user community
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience (including internship experience)
- Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics, Board, Dimensional Insight and/or PowerPlan or other financial software preferred
- Be able to successfully pair technology/IT skills with an understanding of business processes, accounting and budgeting principles
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team environment under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills
- Work towards a MIS, MBA or other master’s degree preferred
- Background in business and/or accounting concepts preferred
