Carbon Capture Student Engineer

The Carbon Capture Student Engineer will work with EPRI scientists and engineers to conduct research on carbon capture, power systems, and engineering economics. Tasks include running computer models, analyzing results, and writing summary reports.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum Junior year engineering student, preferably in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or closely related field
  • Graduate students preferred
 
Ideal Candidate:
 
  • Strong background in mathematics
  • Aptitude and interest in solving engineering problems
  • Working in a team environment, and working on long-term research problems
  • Can work 40 hours per week during Summer 2023
  • If available to work 10-20 hour per week during school year preferred
