What You'll Do… 
Business Impact 
  • Focus on storytelling, and messaging with the corporate Global Communications and Marketing team. Work with the Global Communications team to develop internal and external corporate communications for our intranet, our blog and directly to our employees. You’ll conduct a daily industry news search that is sent to senior leaders and brainstorm on what news and features will interest our employees, followers and customers. Then you’ll get a chance to draft these communications, get them approved and posted. You’ll also attend company events and service projects and draft stories on them.
Project Responsibilities 
Individual:   
  • Conduct daily news search
  • Draft employee emails, feature stories and updates
  • Draft blogs and other external communications that will be distributed/posted (these can be great for your portfolio!)
  • Assist with creating bios and content for the internet and intranet
Team:   
  • Attend team and strategy planning meetings. 
  • Attend and support community giving events
  • Work cross-functionally with Halliburton groups to develop stories for internal and external use and get drafts approved 
What You Need to Know…

  • Great communication skills, written and verbal 
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
