Job Summary
Our global activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based SAS Programmer to join our team. This position will work in a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities
- Setup, validate, and maintain SAS programs;
- Program and validate analysis database in SAS;
- Prepare Data Transfer Specifications;
- Program edit checks, including those for external data;
- Import external data into analysis database; and
- Coordinate communication with Data Manager and/or external database providers regarding database specifications and data transfers.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in a math or information science field);
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment with data managers, data coordinators, statisticians, and programmers; and
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- SAS or SQL experience preferred.
