Financial Accounting - Intern


The Financial Accounting team is responsible for corporate and joint venture (JV) accounting activities. This includes journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and financial statement preparation. The department is split into two groups, one responsible for corporate and the other for JV activities. The role will have exposure to both groups within Financial Accounting. The team operates in a fast-paced deadline driven world with high visibility throughout the organization and from Senior Management.

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end duties to ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Assist with journal entries for multiple entities and joint ventures
  • Assist with account reconciliations
  • Assist with debt, equity, and payroll analysis
  • Assist with Joint Venture, Internal and SEC financial statements
  • Ad hoc, special projects and analyses as required

Education & License: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree underway in Accounting or Finance
  • Junior level coursework completed
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Proven people/project leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off- campus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
