Minimum Qualifications:
- At least a current undergraduate senior with an expected graduation date of Dec. 2022 or May 2023
- Majored in any life science, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering or similar degree program
- At least 1 year of undergraduate independent research experience (outside of coursework)
- Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking skills and attention to details
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and external collaborators
- Ability to work independently in response to guidance and direction and as part of a team
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined practices, techniques and standard operating procedures
- Desire to learn, develop, and execute new assays or lab techniques
- Interest in staying with the Broad for at least two years

Candidates interested in the Broad Biomedical Post-Baccalaureate Scholars Program (BBPS) should complete an ECR application to begin the process. After submitting, you can then complete the BBPS-specific short form, which requires unofficial college transcript(s). The deadline for BBPS applications is February 20th. Please note that the BBPS admissions process is separate from the Early Career Researcher hiring process. Receiving a job offer does not guarantee admission into BBPS, but in order to be admitted to BBPS, you must have a job offer from a research group at the Broad Institute.
What to expect next:
