We are currently seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer with expertise in Chemical Process Safety and Product Risk Assessments for our Thermal Sciences Practice in Irvine, CA.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting and conducting technical investigations
Preparing written reports, proposals, and presentations
Managing projects and client relations activities
Gathering information from and conveying technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and industry
Establishing and managing your own risk management consulting practice within our firm as part of your long-term growth opportunity

You will have the following skills and qualifications:

M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering
Must have a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or be a Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE)
Demonstrated HAZOP, SIL, or QRA experience
Familiarity with PHAST, Exida SILver, FTA, and RAM software
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
International travel to Asia/Middle East for up to 50% of the time may be required
