Description
The DIB Program Analyst will serve as the primary support for Oxy’s Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) initiatives to enhance the strategy and program implementation. This role will also help support the integration and sustainability of DIB and accessibility into organizational culture, mission, and all aspects of Oxy’s operations and decision making. This role serves a resource and first line support to the DIB staff and will use independent judgment to gather information and determine appropriate solutions to complete tasks.
Reporting to the Vice President, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, this role will be primarily responsible for all administrative and logistical tasks of Oxy’s DIB Team. The role will assist in defining and implementing effective business practices that further embed DIB into Oxy’s culture. The candidate will serve as a thought partner while serving as a change agent helping with developing engaging DIB strategies, organizing DIB training and monitoring completion rates. In collaboration with the VP, DIB, this role will assist in managing and coordinating DIB & ERG sessions, activities, and processes and practices that create an exceptional employee experience and drive a high performing, and inclusive culture.

Required Qualifications
  • Conduct online research (identify credible sources)
  • Comfortable with conducting phone interviews and representing Oxy with professional decorum.
  • Understanding of diversity, inclusion, and belonging space
  • Developing volunteer/workplace groups for DIB initiatives
  • Passionate and a keen interest in diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication skills; ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Psychology, Communications, or related field of study
  • Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale
  • Must have a graduation date of December 2022 – May 2023
