Sample Prep Technician
Job Description
EAG Laboratories has an opening for an entry level Technician to prepare metal samples for laboratory testing at our El Segundo, CA lab. The position requires cutting various types of metals (25% of the time) - experience using tools such as a hacksaw, bandsaw and/or cut-off saw is a plus. The position will also include metallographic sample preparation, but experience with these laboratory processes is not required.
Qualifications
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills; data entry experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word; Excel - a plus
- Position requires sitting, standing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity
