JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position as Laboratory Technician II, in the Bohn Lab, Molecular Medicine Dept., this position will work closely with other lab personnel in performing research duties. Will be under the supervision of Chair and Professor, Dr. Laura Bohn.

EXPECTED SALARY:         

Commensurate with experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   
   
Associates degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of related experience or a high school diploma and four years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Familiarity with lab and research procedures.
·        Must have mouse research experience and ability to work daily with mice.
·        Ability to work with other lab personnel.
·        Ability to organize work.
·        Experience with the research environment including the ability to follow protocols and maintaining research data.
