Analytical Chemistry Scientist, St. Louis, MO

Our laboratory in Maryland Heights, Missouri provides organic chemistry testing specializing in investigative analytical chemistry. We have an opening for a Scientist. As a Scientist, you will be designing experiments, interpreting analytical data from LC-MS instrumentation, as well as apply additional analytical data from techniques such as GC-MS, FTIR, NMR and ICP in solving a specific problem and write scientific reports fit for the audience that includes specific conclusions, exact methodology, and supporting analytical data. 
In this role, you could be involved in evaluating the label claims of consumer products, reverse engineering pharmaceuticals/nutritional supplements, contaminant identification, determining sources of off odors/flavors/colors, extractables and leachables of consumer electronics, testing medical devices and much, much more.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a PhD or MS degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry with hands-on analytical chemistry experience with a wide variety of organic materials for multiple projects at a time. Able to demonstrate fine and gross motor skills, sitting, lifting, bending, speaking and writing. You will need to be able to analytical data from techniques such as GC-MS, FTIR, NMR and ICP in solving a specific problem and write scientific reports fit for the audience that includes specific conclusions, exact methodology, and supporting analytical data.
