2023 Intern, Clinical Site Monitoring & Management
The Role:
Moderna is seeking talented intern to join the Clinical Site Management and Monitoring team within the CDO Clinical Trial Excellence and Support function. This position is based in our Cambridge, MA office location. As an intern, you will work with the CSMM team on initiatives centered around expanding Moderna’s global outreach and engagement with investigator sites across therapeutic areas including Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Autoimmune and Rare Diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team of a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry via cutting-edge mRNA science.
We offer one Summer Internship start dates on June 5, 2023. The program is 10-12 weeks in duration. Candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 weeks to participate in the program.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Work with assigned CSMM Regional Directors and/or Clinical Site Liaisons (CSLs) on global site outreach and networking initiatives.
- Work on a project dedicated to identifying new potential investigator site networks and/or sites to consider for future Moderna clinical trials across the ID, Oncology, Autoimmune and/or Rare Disease therapeutic areas.
- Partake in/contribute to cross-functional process improvement and/or systems-related workstream initiatives pertaining to global clinical trial conduct
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Must be a student in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program (PhD or Masters), or in possession of BS/MS or equivalent degree, preferably with a focus in public health, science or research
- Must be proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, PPT
- Must be comfortable communicating and collaborating in a global communications environment
- Good written and oral communication skills in English language
