Engineering Change Order Coordinator

As an Engineering Change Order Coordinator, you will provide leadership on activities required to implement engineering change orders (ECO). Coordinate sourcing, manufacturing, assembly and service parts actions to complete revised and new Item releases. In this position you will work independently utilizing your engineering change scheduling skills to bring multiple ECO releases, Items and bills-of-material (BOM) together into a single implementation plan.

Essential Responsibilities
·      Translate engineering change order (ECO) intent and instructions into manufacturing requirements
·      Coordinate make & buy activities on revised and new item releases
·      Monitor part schedules to meet overall ECO implementation
·      Limit obsolescence by focusing operations team on using or reworking superseded inventory
·      Maintain engineering BOM integrity as updates are made to implementation dates
·      Maintain & communicate BOM requirement changes to released work orders
·      Maintain ERP input parameters such as Item attribute & category information
·      Manage transfer of Items into the service organization
·      Assist with country-of-origin coding for Make Items

·      Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or an equivalent field from an accredited Technical College or University
·      One year (or internship) in materials or inventory planning or engineering project release experience in one of the following:
·      Coordinating engineering change orders to industrial products with a complex BOM
·      Scheduling manufacturing, assembly or service part operations. Working with associated organizational functions in the engineering change order process.

·      Oracle Business system experience
·      APICS CPIM certification
