  A successful candidate will be responsible for the following core functions:
·       Designs experimental procedures to define objectives and execution of studies based on industry guidelines.
·       Leads research and development projects, tracks progress to ensure on-time
·       completion, within budget, and high-quality results.
·       Develops technical information (webinars, datasheet s, etc.) and proposals to market business services to prospective clients.
·       Analyzes and review s instruments and method parameters, raw data, calculate ed data, feedback and related information on an ongoing to as-needed basis to determine trend s, draw conclusions, interpret findings, and presents result s, proposals and recommendations to management and clients.
·       Ensures the accuracy of comprehensive tests, equipment, actions, procedures and operational databases, reports, and related details through audits, queries, and operational reviews; works with teams to resolve discrepancies.
·       Designs experimental procedures to define objectives and execution of studies based on industry guidelines.
·       Leads the assessment of new technologies or test method implementation within the division.
·       Serves as a lead to staff to include providing work direction, guidance and training.
 
Job Duties:
•     Performing expert scientific duties of assigned areas.
•     Overseeing and administering comprehensive area functions.
•     Training others in policies and procedures, and innovative practices related to the work.
•     Serving as a leader in the design, development, and management of pro jects.
•     
Operating in both a team and individual contribute or environment, as well as project leader.

 Education:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry AND at least 6 years of experience, including two years of experience with highly specialized or technical programs or operations; A masters' or Ph.D. degree is strongly preferred.
