Job Description:
Research Source is a site management organization in the medical device industry. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about driving business value with data science and supporting clinical research studies.
Our mission is to bridge the gaps in clinical research, ensuring clinical trials and new technology are available to more patients.
Intern Program Details:
• Paid Internship - $13/hr
• Part-time - Minimum 15 hours/week up to 30 hours/week, additional hours possible
• Start date is immediate, end date is negotiable
• Position will reside in Austin, TX, opportunity for work from home
• This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry
• Training provided from subject matter experts
• Successful candidate will become familiar with clinical research studies (prospective and retrospective), specifically in the medical device field
• Gain experience with various Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Potential for publication acknowledgement/s or authorship/s
Responsibilities:
• Compile patient data from the EMR and other sources per study protocol
• Communicate findings and results in a structured way (both oral and written) according to the study timeline
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team and clients
• Strong commitment to produce deliverables on time
Minimum Requirements:
• Enrolled as a student
• 18 Years of age
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, delivering impactful solutions and presenting work in a concise and thoughtful manner.
• Highly organized and able to meet deadlines and communicate achieving milestones in service of those deadlines.
Preferred Requirements:
• Coursework or experience (research or industry) in data science methods
• Experience with EMR, Excel, and statistics software
