Materials Science Lab Intern

·      Prepare metallurgical samples for microscopic evaluation (section, mount, polish, etch, etc.)

·      Support failure analysis of field components, coordinating with cross-functional teams

·      Perform analysis to determine material composition, microstructure, material properties, etc.

·      Support root-cause analysis projects

·      Organize / track material flow to and from the Lab

·      Running tasks to include improving process documentation, data validation, and technical report writing

·      Plan and schedule project timelines
