Controls Intern
Tasks will be tailored to intern’s interest and background, and may include any of the following:
• Develop software algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, validate by desktop unit testing or Hardware-in-Loop Simulator.
• Assist with on-engine testing of Controls algorithms in Engine R&D Lab
• HMI development including PLC code, screen development, and sw/hw validation.
• Test prototype software algorithms using a MATLAB/Simulink plant model of the 275 engine.
• Provide hardware support through application, testing and failure investigation of controls components (control units, HMIs, sensors, actuators)
