Product Specialist
We are seeking a Product Specialist to join our product management team who will help drive product and service usage and revenue growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment, is detail-oriented, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Job Description:
- Perform demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders of existing products, upgrades on client products, and new products
- Train new clients/users on product functionality including technical information
- Direct customers to online support areas for continued support beyond initial training
- Assist and report customer issues, escalating when appropriate, that are essential to the product functioning correctly
- Support and drive engagement with clients in partnership with our sales teams
- Develop ideas for initiatives to drive revenue growth, identify business opportunities, and develop proposals to improve product positioning in the marketplace
- Analyze client data (e.g., client usage data, market data) to identify strengths and weakness of solutions
- Expert for all product metrics in area of ownership including tracking trends, identifying impact of new features, and performing thorough reviews and analyses of the competitive landscape
- Define needs for marketing collateral and work with product management and marketing to ensure implementation
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-2 years related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Professionalism maintained in all forms of communication
- Ability to interact with prospects and clients as well as cross-functional teams within the organization
- Willingness to travel to conferences and customer sites on 5-15% basis, will vary by month
