Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This is an opportunity to join Amgen’s Therapeutic Discovery Biologics organization as a Postdoctoral fellow. In this vital role, you will be ideating, developing, and implementing new techniques to generate massive data sets to enable the creation of a disruptive technology for designing protein-protein interaction interfaces. You will be embedded in a technologically diverse team, working with leading biotechnology and machine learning experts to solve some of the most difficult problems in large molecule discovery. You will also have the opportunity to lead writing manuscripts, publish in leading journals, and present data in internal and external settings including oral and poster presentations at scientific conferences.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Genetics, or other relevant fields)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • An excellent bench scientist with a passion for ideation and development of new methodologies
  • Experience with any of the following: high throughput or high content biological assay and cell line development; CRISPR 2.0 genome engineering; design of expression plasmids and next generation sequencing (NGS); display technologies, including yeast, phage, or mammalian; discovery of large molecule therapeutics; automation
  • Knowledgeable, highly motivated, creative, and collaborative with strong verbal and written communication skills
