Senior Tableau System Administrator

Ignite is seeking a Senior Tableau System Administrator to support one of our largest federal clients located in Huntsville, AL. The System Administrator needs to have strong written and oral communication skills. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, and configuring servers, performing software installations, and performing system maintenance on Tableau in test, development, and production environments. They must be able to work under minimal supervision and be involved in the advancement of processes and technology.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:

· Active Security +CE or equivalent

· 4+ years experience with network/system admin

· 2+ years of Tableau Administration

· Experience improving, configuring, and administering Tableau Knowledge of Oracle databases corresponding with Tableau (preferred, but not required)

· Experience and understanding of working in a virtual environment (AWS preferred)

· Experience with Windows and Linux environments

· Experience with:

o Systems/Network Administration: 4+ years (Required)

o Tableau System Administration: 2+ years (Required)

o Shell scripting knowledge (PowerShell, bash, etc)

o Comfortable working with a command line interface

Preferred:

· Experience with Visualized or Cloud environment: 1 year

 

Required Education:

· Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience or a Masters's Degree and 10 years of experience.

 

Must have DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
