Sales Representative

Contributes to the Commercial department while he/she learns, trains, and improves skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services. Manage all commercial aspects of key accounts, working directly with a range of internal departments to ensure order execution, on time delivery, accurate forecasting, and invoicing execution. All the while, working toward process improvement, new product/procedure implementation, and most importantly, customer service.
Follows up the Commercial process from the reception of a customer’s request for Quotation to the fulfillment of the business sale, following up the following sub-processes: Offer preparation, Purchase Order Entry and Follow up.

Purpose
Detects and develops business opportunities. Negotiates and formalizes the sale of products and services under the area of responsibility. Maintains regular relationships with customers and is responsible for the Offering process and Order Follow up.
 
Main Responsibilities
·      Responsible for the business settings, which includes the market Intelligence and the pre-Sales & relation with customers.
·      Defines the offer presented to the customer and performs the price definition of it.
·      Is accountable for the previsions and bookings.
·      Is responsible for the acceptance of the business (LTAs signing and contract review).
·      Develops the forecast with clients.
·      Is responsible for carrying out the Offer Engineering (including third parties products and post-processes quotation).
·      Is in charge of the sales order initialization and the purchase order acknowledgement.
·      Controls the status of the order (makes changes if necessary) and carries out post-sales tasks.
·      Responsible for the Take-Out Reception, validating item against agreement, and working out discrepancies if necessary.
·      Forecasting execution through RDDC for Rig Direct customers and through previsions for build to order business.
·      Inventory supply reviews, operational updates, and execution of key Customer reporting.
·      Oversees the build to order business from offer, acceptance, and execution. Communicating directly with the supply chain and mill teams to ensure timely deliveries.
·      Will need to handle changes to orders and determine best path forward
·      Help with new business development, with a specific focus on surplus inventory
·      Monitors all orders to ensure all commercial conditions have been met and each order is fully executed and closed
·      Assure orders Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
